Di Martino Earthworks delivered a three-level basement excavation for BCentral in the heart of Caulfield, one of the more technically demanding projects in the portfolio. Operating from a single access point on busy Glen Huntly Road, the team coordinated all works around tram lines, steady traffic flow and a staged shotcrete program.

Scope included piling pad preparation and compaction testing, bulk excavation, cartage, shotcrete detail, pad footing and crane base excavation. Works were carefully sequenced across multiple shotcrete sprays and anchor rows, with all staging dates met despite challenging weather conditions throughout the project duration.
