project highlights

Di Martino Earthworks was engaged by Lloyd Group to deliver the full groundworks package at Beaconhills College, Pakenham, across two stages.

Stage 1 involved drilling over 700 bored piers up to 6m in depth, with steel supplied and installed to engineering specifications and concrete poured via boom pumps. Pours were carefully staged to maintain programme and allow other trades to commence works alongside. Cartage and disposal of spoil material were managed throughout. Stage 2 comprised subbase works completed to specified levels, with rock supplied and installed on time to programme.

The team was also engaged by the plumbing contractor for drainage excavation works, including installation of multiple large tanks, with all cartage, disposal and crushed rock supply managed in-house.
